A notepad application designed from the ground up with disability justice at its core — voice-powered, screen-reader ready, and fully navigable without a mouse.
Accessibility Pad was built on a simple premise: productivity tools should work for everyone, not just people whose bodies and abilities match the assumed default. Rather than retrofitting accessibility onto an existing app, every feature was designed with inclusion as the primary requirement from day one.
The app supports users with visual impairments through full screen reader compatibility, users with motor disabilities through complete keyboard navigation and hands-free voice input, and users across language backgrounds through multilingual speech recognition. It's a working demonstration that accessibility and usability are not in tension — they reinforce each other.
